Many a product "code" is no longer an item number, but more of a seo keyword string, since it is part of the product url.

When manually adding an item during a phone order, it would be nice to be able to ask the customer for an item number and input that into the "ADD ITEM" "Code" field, instead of trying to search a muti-word product code ( which many times is too long to view in the small code box).

The ability to add an item using a simple item number or sku that is unique, can be displayed on the product page in place of the code, and does not affect the product url would make finding and adding an item easier as well as keep the search engine friendly product code links intact.
