Thanks Brennan, its just a dev store so nobody using it right now. Thanks for looking into this and see you at the conference.
I guess this is a question for Brennan but somebody else may have stumbled upon this too.
The new OOPC (one page checkout) by Miva Merchant is great and I implemented it on a new CSSUI store. So...
Are you maybe changing between secure and unsecured mode when doing this?
Dan speaks out of experience, he is close to have a complete soccer team.
BTW we hijacked the thread :(
Arnold Schwarzenegger had a baby too - at least in a movie :))
You are absolutely correct and I thought so that you refer to different issue and not the basket restoring :)
Hope to see you at the Mivaconf!
The form you are submitting to restore the basket doesn't contain any passwords, just the email address which was used to save the basket. Not sure if Dave referred to the URL you posted or something...
I think you should be able to provide a link in an email which will restore the basket. So no need of lengthy instructions :) Just take a look at the form restoring the basket.
I concur with Dave that using a session ID isn't reliable. Using the save basket function is the easiest way. Just add the code to the basket page. It adds two fields, one to save and one to restore....
Returning to the original question, Bill has a nice function saving a basket and obtain it. It's part of toolkit. It uses a email address to save and retrieve. This way you could create baskets and...
I think a wishlist (emporiumplus) would be a better way than using a session ID. A wishlist can be emailed to anybody :)
Miva's search function wasn't improved yet. You got two options - PowerSearch by Emporiumplus or a paid service called SearchSpring.
FYI we are working on a new search module called Search Diamond...
Susan, sure you can it just isn't well documented. Just start with a +productcode1|produccode2|...
I know only Bill's BuyXGetY although it doesn't add free products just adds a negative charge in the correct value. You can either inlcude or exclude products.
it's just icon-warning-sign :)

Brennan, first and foremost - KUDOS!!!
Could you elaborate how to integrate a Bootstrap 3.0 template into Miva's Boostrap framework.
Did you check your SEO/.htaccess settings (short links). Looks like one of them is causing this.
Bruce is right. If you need a unique ID why not add one to a custom product field or pull it directly from the database - easiest and most reliable way.
No sure about toolkit but toolbelt could export the data using a template (product code | product id ). This way you wouldn't have to store it in a custom field.
Hey Joe, long time no see :)
Why would you do this? Could you elaborate a bit why.
Client used Shopify and moved to Miva. Interface looked simple and it is a rather limited solution. IMHO
Any jQuery slider using a <li> as the thumbs do should do the job. As long as you leave the content of the <li> section as is, it should work.
I don't have the code if this is what you are asking...
The last conditional is the best (using CIN) but instead of displaying the message assign a value to a variable and test if the variable is true outside the "for each" loop. When true display the...
