I'm trying to save a framework and I'm getting the Application timed out error. What should I do?

BUT is it possible to customize the inventory-message in any way? Obviously I can make, for instance, the Long Out of Stock message whatever I want it to say in the Inventory admin. But I want to be able to customize it from the PROD template level.

I imagine it would involve javascript/jquery since the inventory message is displaying for inventory variants in a div/span substitution.

Is this possible?

I hate CSS... With that being said, why can't I get this to work... All im trying to do is create a color bar at the top with text in it..

calling for it like this in Global header.... So it would show above the Logo

Firebug shows it not even seeing the css, yet just below it, the <div id="logo"> shows the .css just fine for that area.... Why isn't this info pulling in....

I have a page that i would like to make avaiable for only people assigned to the Availability Group. This page has pricing for our wholesale customers and want to keep it out of the public eye. any ideas on how to do such a task?

I'm having an issue with Image Machine where it will not dynamically resize images on the PROD page when using subproducts via Inventory Variants.

If you look at this product, which is a single SKU with no variants, it resizes properly to the dimensions specified:

However, this example is a parent product with multiple Inventory Variants for respective sizes, which for some reason the image is not being resized:

I have never had this problem before and am at a loss - any ideas?

Is it possible to copy an existing page and save it as another page? If so, where do I find the instructions to step me through doing this? Or, if not, the instructions for how to create the category alternate display page?

Today, the TwengaBot visited our PROD page several hundred times. The timing was at a rate of 1 visit every 5 seconds. If bots are also visiting the other sites on our shared server, I would think there might be a performance penality for all of us on that server.
Anyone have an opinion on this? I assume that Google, etc. are smart enough not to see this as improving our SEO because of this traffic. Can anything positive result from these bot attacks?

How do I render / vrender a page depending on a conditional in a custom product field?

My products have a custom field called "custom_cat_tree"

I will populate it with values like, cattree1, or cattree2, or cattree3, etc.,

If want to render a page that corresponds to that value, would it be like this?

Or would I have to assign / vassign / sassign that custom field to a variable first? (and if so, how?)

Hi, we find when products sell out, our categories are hanging out there with no products in them. What is the best practice for handling this?

I'm thinking have the category automatically remove from the category tree, but not make it inactive. Perhaps have a message that says something to the affect that "this product is no longer in stock, but a substitute could be found, just email or call us". How can this be done?

I need to update a ton of data and I feel it would be easier to do so via excel or another database program. I want to export all my products without descriptions or some other fields. Every time i export my data via the built in system the data is messy, I think the descriptions code is distorting the tab delimitation. SO if i could export without descriptions it would be much easier to work with the data. Try to do price updates, images changes, custom field additions, etc.

Hello, I have a category that is 4 deep. I would like to pull and display data from a category "custom field" of the parent of that parents category (from the category that is 2 deep). I am using the "toolkit" module to try to accomplish this.
Is that possible? If so, how?
