We've had McAfee secure for years. No problems with the service and they have good customer support.

For $1200 a year do you think it is necessary or really boosts customer trust?

Miva asked if our credit card processor requires a monthly scan and the answer is no or they simply have never asked for one. I used to think PCI compliance required scanning but I believe Miva is working to make Merchant compliant on its own.

I am going to be renewing my SSL Cert soon and I'm considering using Comodo. Any pros or cons with them?

Is there a way to have our regular index.html page rescueandawareness.org render while at the same time allowing us to make edits to our wordpress (WP) version of the site.

WP uses index.php which is higher in the hierarchy than index.html but we want the information on index.html to be served until we have index.php ready. I tried temporarily renaming index.php but that doesn't work.

I already have a support ticket in for this so I'm looking for others that may have ideas as well.

Two issues:

1) During synchronization, duplicate items are being created in QuickBooks.

2) During synchronization, items are being inactivated in MIVA.

Thoughts?
