Hello Mivites,

This is our first MIVA Community Forum poll. Hopefully this will prove popular enough to be a recurring feature.

Our first question is: What type of discounts do you find to be the most effective for your store?

Please choose all dicount types that you feel work best. If you choose "other', please explain what other type you feel is best.

I chose OTHER
Membership type discounts -- building point/credits for redemption or access to discounts on specific categories and/or products. More effective from the merchant side because it build recurring business -- customer retention.

You can apply this concept to more scenarios than any of the others listed in the poll. The others won't always work based on business/product/service.
