We are using QB 2005 Pro and use Syncro daily. Yesterday or limit was reached with the items number as each time we run syncro it add a new inventory item in QB along with a new customer number and QB has a limit.
Is there a way to tell Syncro not to add items, but to use one generic item called "Misc. inventory item" instead or something?
Or is there a way to purge the item list without loosing data so that I can continue to sync orders?

We get a number of users who have reached the limits of QuickBooks. By taking the Order, Customer, and Product Management tasks away from QuickBooks and putting them into the Stone Edge Order Manager, you can free up QuickBooks to focus on the accounting side of your business. The standard Order Manager is written on a Microsoft Access platform and has much greater capacities for Orders, Customers and products. Should you have a business that sells millions of SKUs or have several hundred thousand customers or orders to manage, you can also look at our Enterprise level which uses SQL Server to store your business data - effectively removing any limits on your data storage. Feel free to call us if you have any questions.

Thank you for your reply, but we use MIVA Syncro daily and anything above QB 2005 won't work yet with Syncro.

I don't think that the recommendation was to upgrade Quicken, but that Stone Edge has an Access and an SQL version, either one may be appropriate for your issue. I'd call them for information on their solution as well as contacting an accountant that has been trained in QB2005.
