Display products in sub cat on parent cat

I need to display the products of a sub category on the parent category page.

IE....
PARENT CAT
some text and stuff....

SUB CAT
Product 1
Product 2
Product 3

SUB CAT 2
Product 1
Product 2
Product 3

Why don't you use VK category template module. There is a preconfigured template which does exactly this.
