Coupon Redemtion & Google checkout

I’m using Emporium Plus Coupon Redemption with Google checkout. I offer a free shipping coupon through my normal checkout process that gives free shipping via Priority Mail.

When this coupon is used through Google checkout, it adds a discounted line equal to the shipping method chosen. Since I offer USPS Priority & Express, UPS Ground and DHL ground, all of the choices are available. The customer is able to pick any method of shipment and the discount line changes to equal the amount of the shipping method chosen.

So as an example, the customer could pick Priority and the discount line would change to $-4.75; the customer could change shipping method to Express and the discount line will change to $-18.55.

I want the coupon to only be used for Priority. I don’t want someone selecting Express mail as a free shipping choice.

Is there someway to make the coupon only offer Priority to the customer (when used w/Google checkout)?
Or since the shipment methods are sent to Google before the coupon is used, does that mean there is no way to limit the discount?
Is there some way to limit the coupon or amount that Google will discount?
Any other ideas??

You should contact Emporium Plus directly for support with their module.

Google checkout has a number of incompatibilities with most third party modules that work after the OINF/OCST screen.

The coupon had to be designed to zero out the already chosen shipping method, as it is a free shipping coupon. If you want to offer a discount, don't tie it to shipping; just make a fixed coupon discount.

BTW - You should have received a response to this question through my support system already.

Can the Coupon Module referred in this thread still work with Google Checkout then...for some reason I thought that the Google checkout circumvents the coupon page ?

The coupon redemption module from Emporium Plus does allow you to redeem coupons at google and discount your merchant order.
