Access denied for user 'user'@'localhost' to database 'dbname'

Anyone know why one would get the following error when clicking "Finish" on a MM5 setup?

Error Code: MER-DBA-MYS-00002
Description: mysql_real_query: Access denied for user 'user'@'localhost' to database 'dbname'

This is after it created 12 or 13 tables.

Turns out this is a bug in MIVA Empressa 5.04. 5.03 worked just fine.

Same problem.

Tried using empressa 5.06 and 5.04, with 5.00 PL3, creates about 12 tables then gives the access denied message

unfortunately i don't have empressa 5.03 and PL3 appears to require 5.04 anyways.

this bug was reported 8 months ago, didn't see a fix for it in the empresa log.
