New syncro user here,

wondering if anybody has any suggestions on how best to use syncro to syncronize one company file in QB to multiple stores in Miva. Specifically, we have 5 stores total, one with EVERY product, and the other four are branded differently and their products are unique with respect to each other, but buplicated in the first store. Is there a way to have syncro only sync, say a certain class of products to a certain store? Or is there a way to keep ceratin stores' databases from being populated with unwanted products??

At this point, we figured we'd have to let the databases be populated, however, if we didn't categorize of thumbnail the unwanted products, they wouldn't nessesarily show up on any of the store pages. However, they would show up in customer search results - and this could ba a problem.

any ideas??? Thanks.

Hey everybody, I had asked this say question to miva in an email and didn't realize I had the answer waiting in my inbox when I posted this question.
For anybody else that may have a similar setup, this is the answer I got from Miva:

"When you are setting up each store in MIVA Synchro, each one will have separate configuration settings. You can sue the "Selective Synchronization" field to choose whether or not the product will synch with that specific store. More info on this feature can be found on page 28 of the user guide (http://smallbusiness.miva.com/suppor...roGuide160.pdf (http://smallbusiness.miva.com/support/docs/synchro/SynchroGuide160.pdf))"

If anyone has anyfurther tips or tricks, I'd be glad to hear them! Thanks!
