Ultimate SEO Links or Site Map first?

I have been advised to add a site map and to install the Ultimate SEO LInks module on my site to improve my search ranking. Does it matter which one I do first? Would doing one before the other make my life easier? Thanks for any opinions.

If you create the site map first then you'll have to completely redo it when you do the search engine friendly links. Thus, as Dan says, do the SEF links first.
