Is there anyway for the Miva Merchant to use a MSSql database? I see MySql works but nothing as far as MSSql.

I want to create an API that takes all of the data from the MySql or MSSql database and exports it to another database.

I need to get a hold of the database schema so that we can start to create this API. Does anybody have the schema or a blank database that I can get a hold of? I haven't upgraded my current database to MIVA 5 yet but would like to get the schema before the upgrade.

MIVA did release an ODBC compliant db connector. I believe it is still in beta, but it should provide the access to an MSSQL db.

You would have to have your host install the connector.

It's been pointed out that this is old and outdated, but it gives you a start: http://docs.smallbusiness.miva.com/en-US/merchant/api/dbschema/MM5%20DB%20Schema.pdf
