How do I assign MULTIPLE attribute templates to the same product via flat file import. I can assign ONE but if I try CODE_1,CODE2,CODE3 like you do when you assign multiple categories to a product via flat file I have no luck. Anybody have the answer?
If I import the file again with a different attribut code it doesn't replace the first assigned template but assigns another template. = 2.
If I import the file again with NO attribute template code then it doesn't remove the template(s) assigned.
What's the best way to remove attribute template assignments as well?

You can't. You have to import them separately.

Not sure if you want to do this (doesn't correlate with what you said above), however, importing appends this type of data, it doesn't replace/remove other data.

Correct, because there's no "delete/remove" import functionality in MIVA Merchant's import modules.

Have you looked at the Attribute Import Export (http://www.designextend.com/page/miva/PROD/attribute) module? It will allow you to assign multiples (with separate line items) as well as completely remove attribute and attribute template assignments.
