Have you contacted your host?

This sounds like your host does not have the proper SSL cert installed.

You see, those cheap GoDaddy certificate (like Comodo and a few others) are not Root Authority SSL certificates. They are intermediate or chained SSLs that require your host to install a root cert.

I also edited your initial post.

Please be careful what you post. These forums are indexed by web spiders and your post contained not only sensitive merchant data about your account and cart id, but all your customer's information including their billing and payment data.

Okay, If I get a Thawte Cert will everything be okay. Can I use The SSL123 cert. ($149/year) with Thawte or do I have to get the SSL Web Server Cert. ($199/year). Or is there another company that is known to work that is cheaper? Thanks for your help

David

Honestly, that would be putting a band-aid on the problem.

I suggest you work with your host to fix the misconfiguration. If they are unable to do so - seek a more knowledgable host.

If cost is your only concern, then I'm afraid you're going to get exactly what you pay for.

My host is hostmysite.com. They say that everything is configured correctly, and I have called GoDaddy, they say they have had no problems with there Turbo SSL Certificate (what I have) and google checkout. When I go my site https://store.copperlab.com and click on the lock next to the address bar (in IE7) and show the certificate path it shows; 1. Go Daddy Class 2 Certification Authority--then Go Daddy Secure Certification Authority--then store.copperlab.com. So it looks as if they have the SSL setup correctly.

I'm having the same issue with a Godaddy cert and google checkout. Will be talking with my host about what I can do about it soon.

Okay, Well I got mine up and runniing with a GoDaddy Turbo SSL cert. My host had to install the 3 certificates (CA Authority, Intermediate, and Site) and then everything started to work. So it is possible for a GoDaddy Turbo SSL to work with Google checkout. I am having another problem however with the shipping+hadnling $0 as my only shipping option.

Do your self a favor and avoid those cheap SSL certs. Not only do they lack the browser support that the 3 major players do - many hosts have difficulties installing these intermediate certificates anyhow.

Stick with a name brand Root Authoritative SSL certificate and you will have less compatibility problems. Especially if you have a so-so host.

Were you having the $0 shipping problem before you got the cert to work?

Yes, however I thought it had to do with the API callback function not working.

I too, am having an API callback error. I recieve the following message:

We encountered an error trying to access your server at https://www.stop-crime.com/Merchant2/google/google.mvc -- the error we got is: Sending failed with HTTP response code: 401. Response body was: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>401 Authorization Required</title> </head><body> <h1>Authorization Required</h1> <p>This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.</p> </body></html>

I have tried everything I can think of. Even deleted and reinstalled.
I am using miva 4.23
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Also ,with this error, In my admin under modules and then looking at google. It says Usage Count (Number of Stores): 2

Is this correct? I have only one store. I have tried reinstalling the module, but still comes up with 2 stores

Thank you very much in advance
