For those of you who use HackerSafe Certification with your Miva cart, what are your experiences with it? How much does it cost? How's the service? Are you seeing increased sales as they say on their website?

While some shoppers recognize the HackerSafe logo and what it means, it doesn't necessarily mean it will result in an increase of sales. However, the service does scan your site/server, so it's definitely worth the money to ensure your site is compliant with proper security measures.

Unfortunately, telling someone they need something by ways of security isn't an easy sell because there's a myth that a page loading in https:// is all you need.

Not that their advertising is false, but I don't like users dropping the service because they don't see a "return" in orders immediately.

Those are some very good points. Basically - use HackerSafe as part of an overall strategy to retain customers, and don't scrutinize its ROI too much. The returns they post on their website are pretty nice though... 14%, 8%, etc... But I'm sure that takes some time to develop... Again, thanks for the info. HMB
