auction software

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good auction software? One of the requirements is that my client is the only one that can list items.

Does Miva by chance offer something? Or can Merchant be used as an auction somehow?

I wrote a custom module that provides a "hidden-price" feature for Miva stores. Customers can either buy an item at the regular price, or try a lower bid; but if they bid too low, they get locked out and have to buy at the regular price. If something like that would work for you, please drop me a line by private email to discuss it.

I actually came across PHP Pro Bid via PHP Resource Index. It seems to be what I need for my client. I'll give it a try and see.
