Well, we did have a tax-free weekend here in Alabama for back to school shoppers. Seems Tennessee did the same thing this past weekend. Found out the hard way as we made our annual "pilgrimage" to Knoxville for our "orange" supplies.

We just had the same thing here in Texas. They've been doing it here for 10 years.

Florida has a tax week since everything is done slower here, but it's only for certain types of supplies and clothing under certain amounts. So no buying cars tax free. :)
