WOLFPAW COMPUTERS AQUIRES NETPUSH, INC.
LEWISVILLE, TX, January 25, 2007: WolfPaw Computers (www.wpcomp.com (http://www.wpcomp.com)) announced today they have signed an agreement completing the acquisition of a substantial majority of assets of NetPush Inc. (www.netpush.net (http://www.netpush.net)), of Denver, CO, a leading software development group and web hosting company focused on products for the MIVA? Merchant shopping cart product. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
NetPush Inc. is a privately held corporation, founded by Jason McWilliams and Clay Beckham in 2003. NetPush, a MIVA? Development partner, well known for their contributions to the MIVA? Merchant software market with such products as ?NetPush Order?, ?NetPush Advanced Inventory?, ?NetPush HitsLink?, and many others. NetPush also provides Web Hosting for a number of small and medium sized businesses, many with online stores.
Effective immediately, WolfPaw Computers has begun transition of all NetPush customers to their hosting platform and acquired the rights to the majority of NetPush?s assets.
NetPush founders have retained the rights to the NetPush Order product. The acquisition will allow the founders to focus more attention on the product. NetPush Order will be re-branded, updated for MIVA? Merchant 5 and other shopping carts, and re-released in the near future.
WolfPaw Computers has plans to update and re-release many of the existing NetPush modules, as well as maintain technical support for existing customers.
