Base + Weight Shipping

After finding nothing that addresses my earlier post regarding shipping from multiple vendors, multiple shipping methods, etc., I've resigned to use the Base + Weight shipping module.

This module seems to be able to do the trick, mostly, until checkout.

My question is this: Is there a method to have the shipping charges for each item reflect the base + weight in the final total? (in Miva itself, or a module I can buy)

The way it looks now is if you buy Item A, two Item Bs, and Item C, the final shipping charge reflects the Base on Item A, and the total weights for all the other items. If I'm ordering from Vendor A, Vendor B and Vendor C.. I'm hosed for shipping.

Sorry for delay - just found this.

Base + Weight modules tend to calculate shipping on the entire order totals weight.

How do your vendors ship? If it's by UPS, then the UPS Custom Integration (http://www.designextend.com/page/miva/PROD/BROK_UPS_CUSTOM)will allow you to flag products to ship separately from various locations/zip codes.
