HELP. I am new to this and a complete novice. I have built my store using Miva Merchant V4.23 with Miva Engine 4.1400. All is good except for payment.
I live in Australia and my business is in Australia. I chose the Paypal Module incuded with my modules to accept payment. The problem is when the Paypal module asks me to choose currency, there is no option for Australian Dollars. Only US. Euro, Canadian, English Japanese. So I selected US.
Now, at checkout all looks ok as I have selected generic currency formatting within Miva store but when customers go to pay, the Paypal screen comes up with an amount in US dollars. I need it to be Australian Dollars.
I contacted Paypal and the reply was........................

The currency associated to your PayPal buttons is not set in the profile but it is encoded in the HTML code of the button itself.
If you want to let your customers paying in Australian Dollars you have to specify "AUD" as value for the "currency_code" variable in the button that links your cart to PayPal:
<input type="hidden" name="currency_code" value="AUD">
If you have access to the code of your cart you can try to look for the line above and make the change by yourself. Otherwise you should contact directly Miva cart and ask them how to make this change.
