phishing for Paypal anybody?

Must be that time of the year for the scammers to phish for paypal accounts. I've been bombarded with emails from service@paypal.com -- of course Paypal doesn't officially use that email address AFAIK. So maybe this be a warning to beware and be carefull.

We get about 4-5 of those a month.

Along with some from Chase, Wachovia, BofA and several other popular banks.

They're all scams. Your bank will NEVER ask for personal information via an email to you asking you to enter PIN numbers or Account information.

I get the chase ones and the paypal emails to an account that has never been listed with paypal. But the best one i get says that I have been preapproved for up to a $420,000 home mortgage for only 400 a month. I think I might take them up on that offer.
