Here's the job:
I want change carts from Americart to MM5 at my existing ecommerce site; http://www.MegaGlass.com. I need you to design the Miva store, incorporating all features offered at my current site and then turn control over to me, with pointers and guidance on how to maintain what you design for me.
I use Stone Edge Order Manager to manage my orders. Miva Merchant 5 and the OM mod have been installed on my server. I imported categories and products via flat file, and assigned products to categories and related products to one another as appropriate. I have purchased the ADS Cat Master mod, which was configured a bit by Henry, President of ADS.
- I want to duplicate the functionality of my existing site, and later add other mods with an eye towards increasing sales.
- I want my home page to be my storefront.
- I want the storefront to feature image links to my 4 main categories of products; glass marbles, glass flats, glass shapes and sea glass.
- In addition to the Miva 5 Pages, I need Pages made to replace the additional pages now featured on my site; ?Instructions,? ?Terms,? ?Security,? ?Privacy,? ?FAQ?s,? and ?Contact Us.? I also need links to my two exising PHP scripts in the Site-Wide Nav Bar.
- I need to replicate the discount structure currently in place:
Subtotal - Additional Fee/Discount
$0-$99.99 - No Discount, Charge $5 Small Order Fee
$100-$199.99 - No Discount, Drop Small Order Fee
$200-$299.99 - 5% discount on Subtotal
$300-$399.99 - 10% discount on Subtotal
$400-$499.99 - 15% discount on Subtotal
$500-$999.99 - 20% discount on Subtotal
$1,000 - $2,499.99 - 25% discount on Subtotal
$2,500-$4,999.99 - 30% discount on Subtotal
$5,000-$9,999.99 - 35% discount on Subtotal
$10,000-$19,999.99 - 40% discount on Subtotal
$20,000+ - 50% discount on Subtotal
- Customers must agree to our Terms of sale before Checkout.
- Subtotals under $100 should incur a $4.99 small order fee.?
- I want a search box on-screen at all times
- I want a link in every listing to the effect of ?Have a question about this item? Ask us!? If customers click this link a blank e-mail should open up addressed to us and citing the relevant SKU in the subject so the cust can contact us quickly from each listing.
- I also need the listings to show whether product is packed by weight or count. I have fields for weight and count, also a field denoting whether a product is packed by weight or by count. If product is packed by count, the cart should say "count=x, weight~x." If product is packed by weight, the cart says "count~x, weight=x."
That is, if a product is packed by weight, the referenced weight is exact and guaranteed ("equal to" sign), the count is estimated and is not guaranteed ("approximately equal to" sign), and vice-versa.
- Please let me know any additional info needed to quote a price for the job.
