View Full Version : External Stylesheet Problem on Custom Pages
I am using Weiland's MyTree Category Manager. I created an external stylesheet, linked to it in the global header and applied the classes to the MyTree manager. Everything works great on the Product and Catergory pages but for some reason my custom pages can not seem to locate the external stylesheet. They are using MyTree and the search friendly links. Just not using stylesheet classes.
Are custom pages located somewhere different in the Miva site structure? I've tried modifying the link to the style sheet with any number of "../" additions. No luck.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

The call for the external style sheet should be located in the Head Tag Content of your site. Then make sure the "head" item is turned on and called into your custom page templates.
Thanks for the response.
That was the first thing I checked. The head tag ITEM is definitely checked. When I do a view source on the HTML page I can see the link to the stylesheet included at the top of the source code in the HEAD tag.
The strange thing is that when I "View Source" and look at the part of the html code displaying the category tree, it is like it's linked to an older version of MyTree complete with underlines (which I removed).
All I can compare it to is like it's accessing an older version of the MyTree template. The Category Links do not even show the class statement that I applied directly to the links in MyTree but it is definitely accessing the MyTree template (it's checked in ITEMS).
I've obviously emptied my cache and also checked in different browsers and had others check from their computers).
I should also note that my StoreFront and Search pages are not applying the class statements to the category links either. Only the Product and Category Pages are correct.
I'm stumped. It seems like it should be so obvious.

can you post a link or pm it? You may have your relative linking wrong?
