Is anyone using VeriFone PC Charge Pro ?

I need to find out how it works basically.

We currently use Verisign Payflow Pro and Nova for our online transactions.

I'm hoping to keep it real simple to make cardmember present transactions at our retail outlet without having to sign up for some whole separate special "account" with $600 terminal machine

I wondering if with VeriFone PCCharge Pro the user simply plugs in their verisign stuff or merchant account data to make it work

We use it for retail debit and credit.

Works very well. Although it is our payment server -- ie it processes transactions that are fed from POS terminals. Nonetheless, we can directly enter card details as well and process, either manually, or using peripherals. We have no need for this, but I am simply saying PC Charge supports direct interfacing of peripherals. You could attach wedge card swipes, or devices that use comm ports.

As for configuration with a specific processor, here is what is supported:

If you buy it you get support as far as getting your processing up and running. They build your config based on info you provide. Then they give you a ftp link (passworded) where you can download the config files so you can plug them in. And I think there is also 30 days of support after that as well.. any issues.
