Hi,
I use dreamweaver for my static producfts page but am finding that search engines are also indexing my Miva Product Pages. I want to disallow The search engines from indexing Miva.
Could you please tell me the code to put in my robots.txt file to accomplish this.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Why duplicate your efforts?
Discontinue the use of your static pages and search optimize your MIVA Store.
Then you wouldnt have to update twice everytime you change prices, add or discontinue a product.
Let MIVA Merchant do exactly what it was designed to do, dynamically generate your content.
However, if you must...
Set up a robots.txt in your www root with:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /Merchant2/
Assuming of course your store follows the standard MM4 install:
http://www.domain.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc

Jason,
Thanks for your reply.
Vic,
Thanks for your reply and I might change one of my sites to Miva only.
It was easier for me to set up in dreamweaver and just add Miva.
But you might be right. I have to see how the SEO goes. The site that I want no Miva SEO has numerous 1 to 6 positions in all search engines. Actually I believe I have over 30 No. 1 positions for various key words. The other one is new and that I might change.
Thanks again.
Marty:)
