test &mvt: for value?

Rrrgg.. SMT!

Can someone give me a nudge in the right direction for testing an &mvt:(something) for a literal value? For example if I wanted to test (pseudo):

IF &mvt:colors:lhdr_bg; = "#008800"

the bg color is blue

/END IF
