Product Attributes

Ok, so we currently have about 500 products and each of those products has about 4-7 attributes, so we are looking at anywhere between 2000-3500 attributes we would have to key in by hand. What I am wondering is, is there a way to import all of this data, becasue I would really like to avoid manual data entry for this. I have looked through the MIVA Merchant 5 documentation and all I is see is that you can upload Attribute template assignments to products, but that is not what i need to do. Please advise:confused:

oh and I feel i should add that all of the attributes are different for each product so just using an attribute template in kinda out
