If you use - or are considering using Websites Payments Pro from Gilligan On-Line, you'll be interested in knowing I have recently updated it.

Both versions (4.x and 5.x):
- PayPal transaction id displays in the order itself, and in the standard batch report.
- Uses long error messages from PayPal in the event of a failure
- Reported bugs with Canadian orders now fixed.
- Order ID sent to PayPal for both Express and Direct modes.
- Better support provided than any competitor!

Hi all,
Websites Payments pro by GOL has once again been updated.

Turns out that PayPal approves NON-USA orders when submitted with a country of USA, but generates an error. This meant that Merchant (with my module) had no order, but PayPal did.

This latest update addresses this issue by first checking for a US state and the USA as the country. If the state does not exist in the USA, but they entered USA as the country, the customer sees an error indicating he/she must fix their country selection.

Once the country is properly selected (or state fixed), the order will go to PayPal for processing as normal. All succesful transactions from PayPal will now pass to the invoice page and generate the final order.

In addition to helping ensure that PayPal is not approving orders with bad country/state selections, my module also helps ensure the integity of your billing and shipping info, as previously, the shipping address (if same as billing) could contain a canadian province (or any country area) but a country of US. This should no longer occur.
