In MM5.. if you enable this and are using MySQL.. where does this file get stored? I checked the mivadata area. There is a folder called 'Merchant5' but alas MALF.LOG is not anywhere in that dir..

The malf.log should indeed be in the mivadata directory. Regardless of mivasql or MySQL backend.

It is a text file that is created, not a database or field value.

Yes, indeed. All log files I have ever seen are text files.

Yet the file is not there.

Could be a permissions issue.
