Redesign Checkout process

I haven't ever played with Miva's checkout process but I wanted to redesign the whole thing. I'm not sure if this is possible but I would like redesign it similar to http://www.headsets.com. It just seems more logical. What would I need to do? I think the checkout pages are (OSEL, OPAY, OCST) not in any order. Would I just modify, for example, the OCST page in Miva and add shipping stuff from the OSEL page? Is this even possible? Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.

It is very possible to redesign the process layout, it is not possible (without a custom checkout process module) to change it as much as headsets.com's checkout process it. The main thing you can do is change how it looks, not how it acts.
