From the Fast Data Feed description,
Submit request to FroogleTM for acceptance into the program INFO (https://www.google.com/froogle/merchants/base.html)
Install this module and run it
Once accepted, upload resulting (username).txt flat file to FroogleTM through their Google Base panel. Make sure to select feed type as "Products"
Check your pages in FroogleTM when they show up
it would appear that an FTP client is required since MIVA is running on a web server somewhere and the Google base upload screen is accessed via a local machine. Therefore the resulting text file generated by Fast Data Feed would need to be transferred from the server to a local machine somehow, e.g., FTP. Am I correct, or am I missing the boat completely here?
Also when running Fast Data Feed, can the resulting .txt file location be specified on the server?
Thanks.
Stan B.
