Hi-
We use Storeman with Miva compiled with Openui. We have products that have a different sku for each color size combination
i.e sheets in Queen Ivory
Does anyone know of a way or Mod that will give you the ability to have a different SKU# for each combo as compared to one for the general item?

Thanks!

Shannon:)

With the Stone Edge Order Manager (www.StoneEdge.com/OrderManager.htm) you can use the SKU for the general item (the "parent SKU") in Miva, and have the Order Manager convert it to the "sub SKU" for the specific attributes that were selected as it imports the orders. That keeps your Miva maintenance simpler, but gets you the SKUs that you need for order fulfillment, inventory tracking, purchasing, etc.

I'm not sure if this addresses the same issue, but we use a "general" product code for the product, and then a different product code assigned to an attribute which we hard code into the attribute description.

On this (http://www.lmine.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=1836x&Category_Code=molds&Product_Count=1)example, we have the product code 1836x, with attributes assigned product codes 18361, 18362, 18363, etc.

We use Weilands attribute prompt vs. code to list the description of the attribute in the invoice so we have the product code of the option along with the description.

I will check that out. We are using the Phosphor dynamic attribute pricing with the Sebenza basket combine (plus Viking Temp MOds) do you have any idea if that will work with these as I am not sure if the Dynamic Mod does something similar? any ideas? Thanks
