Miva product deleted

Today I received a customer email asking if we quit carrying a particular item, because it wasn't displayed in its category. I checked, and sure enough the item was nonexistant in Miva admin. I am the only one with access to Miva admin and haven't done any edits to this product in months. The store is packing just fine. Has anyone experienced this before? Just curious. I recreated the product and then packed the databases again. Running MM 4.22 with current OpenUI.

Have your host look through the logs for the site, a deletion will normally leave some info in the logs that will let them tell you when it occurred if the logs go back far enough.

Is there a certain log in particular that might have product deletion info?

Just the normal web access log. To get to the spot where you can delete a product though, there will normally be a trail and the product code in at least one request that will be in the log.

Well, I had another customer email me today asking if we quit carrying the same product that disappeared yesterday. The product code is 142. I went to our website and sure enough, the product was completely gone. Then I logged into Miva and the product doesn't exist. After this happened yesterday I recreated the product and packed the databases. I made sure the product was actually on our website yesterday and it was.

I haven't packed yet today. I looked at the products.dbf file and there is no record of product 142 in there.
