Question about order numbers

two questions about order numbers:

1) can we change it to say "Order Confirmation Number" on the INVC screen and in the email notification instead of "Order Number"?

2) do we have any control over the order number sequence (i.e. what number it starts at)?

Not without 3rd party modules.

If you have OpenUI with OpenLanguages, you can certainly change the INVC screen - and if using the OpenUI Customer and or Merchant Nofitication emails, you can change the subject.

As for the number sequence, you cannot change the sequence, but you can change the next order number higher.

Either through a database edit, or with one of a couple modules.
