Hello Everyone.
I'm in need of some help - I know someone out there can help me.
Here's my scenario - I have a product - pack of Holiday Cards. I have attributes/options under the cards for imprinting. There is a $25 charge for imprinting logos and then there is a table of imprinting charges based on quantity ordered. Here's my problem - question... When someone orders 50 packs of Holiday Cards and they want their logo printed inside - I only want them charge $25, NOT $25x50. How do I make this happen??
ANYONE?!!

Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately this is going to require yet another module. Miva cannot do one-time or setup charges via attributes.

Looks like Emporium Plus has a module for this:
http://www.mivacentral.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?store_code=m&screen=PROD&product_code=WCW-MISCFEE5

Hope this helps... nice site too!

Thanks for your reply - I'm going to look into the module. But I was wondering - you said Miva can't do it as an attribute. Is there another way to do this? I just assumed it would be an attribute. Is there another way to accomplish this?
Thanks!!

The only other way I can think to do it would be to make the logo/setup fee option a separate product priced at $25.00, and then display it in the related products section of the holiday cards product. Your customers would have to choose the cards they wanted and then add the $25.00 logo/setup fee to the cart separately.

That's what I'm going to try now. I was thinking about having the $25 fee as an upsale. I've never done upsales - but I thought that might work.

Sounds good, let me know how it works out.

The upsale didn't work like I had hoped - but I think the related products will work out just fine. It's not pretty - but it's functional.

Thanks for the help,
