For security reasons i need to change the password for the mysql username we use to connect the Miva store. I can do that easily enough in Mysql, but how or where do I make the change in the Miva configuration?

In the root of your MIVA data directory, you have a file called merchdb.dat which contains the connection string data. You can edit it there.
