search stopped working

My search function is no longer returning results. Its probably something I did (ie removing a page item), but I cant seem to fix it. Any troubleshooting suggestions?

What items do you have checked?

On the search page the following items are checked:

head,hdft,store,inventory,category,body,category_t ree,product_list,buttons,BROK_INVENTORY,mytree,min ibask

on a side note, would it hurt it just enabled all items to see if it helps? is there a performance hot for enabling unecessary items?

What is the url to your store?

Revert back to the original template code and enable these items:

head, hdft, store, inventory, body, navbar, colors, product_list, fonts, buttons, BROK_INVENTORY,mytree,minibask

See if that restores the features.

thanks Vic, that did the trick. I think I had one of my items unchecked by mistake.
