Is anyone using the module Miscellaneous Fee v5 by EMPORIUM PLUS? (http://www.mivacentral.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?store_code=m&screen=PROD&product_code=WCW-MISCFEE5)

I am wanting to see an example of how this looks. Our store www.costwonder.com (http://costwonder.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=SFNT&Store_Code=M)
is going to have different handling fees depending on the product. This is different than the shipping costs. I am trying to figure out how I can get a handling fee to be added to the checkout depending on the product being purchased, so during checkout the final checkout screen will show the total cost, shipping cost, and the handling fee. Right now it just has the total cost and the shipping cost.

Do you even think this module will work for that? Or do you know of one that would? Or maybe there is a way to do this without a module?

Thank you so much!

We have many clients using this. It's useful when needing to add specific fees to orders or individual products, regardless of shipping handling charges. It simply displays the fee on the product page, then at checkout it will display the charge, right along with shipping and any discounts (like coupons).

While I dont have any examples of the top of my head, we have a number of customers using this module.

Very easy to configure. Just create the fee, and decide if it is one time, once per order, or per applicable product.

You can override the global settings with the Misc Fee tab in the edit product screen also.

Just assign the correct fee to the appropriate product.

So for our 150 products, I could have 150 handling fees to assign? And it would show up on the check out screen?

If you have 150 different handling fees for 150 different products, I'd say its time to re-think the handling fee!

Might want to organize it into categories, thus smaller groups with assigned fees.

But yes, you could.

Fantastic! And I agree that organizing them into categories would be a much cleaner nicer way to handle the handling fees. Do you happen to know of an example site maybe?

It won't help much, because all you're going to see on the screen is:

LABEL: fee amount

Did you look at the documentation (http://www.emporiumplus.com/v5/miscfee.htm)?
