Default Paypal module - product details

Is it possible using the builtin Miva PayPal module IPN module to send the full product details to paypal rather than just the cumulative order total?

The paypal API allows for this, and I have seen other carts which can do this.

No. Not with the built in module.

However, you could write your own that did.

No, and I don't think any of the third-party ones do either. They simply reference the order number, which actually should be sufficient.
