View Full Version : Error code "unable to authorize payment"

The following error screen appears as customers are redirected back to the storefront after making a purchase. Not sure why ... using paypal ... Payment is processed and funds received by paypal, but the inventory is not adjusted within MM5 and the following error message appears.

It sounds like the paypal settings are wrong then, normally you would come back to an invoice page. In Merchant 5, go to the store, then Payment Configuration then PayPal tab along the top of the right-side screen. On the paypal screen, there are four settings that must be configured on the paypal side that will be listed at the bottom of the page; just cut and paste as needed into paypal's management interface.

OK, I did cut and paste, however, there could have been an error made in doing so, I will go back and carefully check it and post back either way. Thanks for your help!
