We've been using the Email Merchant Notification for a long time, and in MM4 we had a subject line that used OUI to put the order number in it. Does this email have the ability to use entities? It obviously doesn't have a spot to associated items with it, but I wasn't sure if this was done behind the scenes (It obviously includes all the other info about the order). Does anyone know how to include the order number in the subject line?

I tried &mvt:order:number; as a guess, but it didn't get parsed.

You would either need Weiland's Toolkit or Mail Manager to do this.

Mail Manager would. Tool Kit wouldn't help because the standard email module that comes with merchant is not a SMT. While not a main feature, the Addendum could do this too. It contains a modified standard email module which has the ability to put tokens in the subject in addition to display the Addendum responses.

Thanks. For now we've decided that it's not a large priority for us, but we do like the Addendum module as a future option. We had talked about adding some of those features in the future, so I've bookmarked it for later :D

Thanks.

Yes. Look at the install doc and the associated (linked) examples. You use tokens in the subject line and that is not one of them.

Don't forget to include the module's order number and your full merchant url.
