Hello,
My customers are getting the following error message when trying to create a new account:
*****
Runtime error in features/cus/cus_rt.mvc @ [00000001:000014be]: features/cus/cus_rt.mv: Line 304: MvDO: Function 'Module_Customer_Runtime_Validate' is defined with 0 parameters and was called with 1
*****
I am running: Production Release 2, MIVA Engine v5.03, Database API: mivasql
Any help and ideas on how to fix are appreciated. I have a busy day ahead of me but I will check in as often as possible.
Thanks!
Ross

Have you installed Miva Synchro? I've seen this caused by a bug in the MM5 Synchro module in the past; I'm not sure if there is a fix but what you had to do previously is inactivate the Synchro module under modules whenever you are not using it and then turn it back on when you need to download orders.

YES! :D
Thank you, David!
I have been poking around for days trying to fix it. Synchro never occured to me. Deactivating it did the trick.
Thanks again!

I am getting the following error when creating a new account. I don't have Synchro so I know it's not that. The only third party module I have is ImagePro.
Runtime error in 5.00/merchant.mvc @ [0000000f:00000114]: merchant.mv: Line 1073: MvDO: Unable to find function 'SystemModule_UIException'
Any advice on how to solve this error???

Deactivate ImagePro and see if you still get the error. If you do, conact Luray.

We too had this issue after istalling Miva Synchro.
In order to resolve the conflict mentioned above, we restored the mm5/5.00/features/cus/cus_rt.mvc file with one from a previous version of Miva, and that fixes the problem without any known side-effects.
I recommend backing up your existing cus_rt.mvc file rather than overwriting it.
We also had this error after installing Miva Synchro and contacted Miva Support. Here is their reply:
"We have an updated module for the Miva Synchro connector that will correct the problem your customers are experiencing. Here is the link.

You will want to scroll down a bit until you see the link for
Miva Merchant Synchro Connector Module for Miva Merchant 5 update - 1/4/06
click on the link, and download the file and follow the directions to update the module. Once updated, attempt to create an account on the store and log into the account. You will then be able to log in without error."
