Hello folks. We're using Miva 4.24 and OpenUI. We're also using WCW's Groupwise Weight Table Shipping by State Zone shipping module.

Upon evaluating our ELM2 stats, it looks like we're losing a few more people than we should during the checkout process. We think it's because of our Shipping Setup and rates.

In addition to lowering our shipping rates to be more competitive, we'd like to clean-up this portion of the checkout process.

The WCW module we're using requires the customer to input their address, zip, state and country. Only after doing this, which is the 3rd or 4th step of the Checkout process, does the customer see their shipping rates.

We'd like to show it to them sooner than that, rather than requiring them to input all of their personal information first.

Kohls.com has a great example of what we'd like to do.

Is there a 3rd party module that allows us to accomplish this?

Thank you.
JC

Yes, you can use the TinyCart (http://www.designextend.com/page/miva/PROD/DEN_TINYCART) module to display estimated ship costs during the shopping process. They would just enter their State and Country to get a cost based on the current basket contents.

Weiland's Mini-Basket has this as a built in feature. It has come in very handy for our customers.
