shipping super mod and availability groups

I have 1 availability group and 1 method of shipping for this group.
I have assigned the 1 ship method to this group.

I have 5 other ship methods available to all other customers.

Problem. when a customer from the my 1 availability group is processing an order he/she can see the other ship methods.

But all other customers outside this availability group can NOT see the 1 ship method assigned to the availability group.

What am I doing wrong here.

To my knowledge, the Shipping SuperMod cannot be used to not show shipping methods to members of an availibility group that are not specifically restricted to the group.

It can however, only show a particular method or methods if the customer is a member of the group.

I beleive this has to do with the default being no group, which will show to ALL customers - including those in an availibility group.

It would be nice if this feature allowed restriction exclusively by group.
