Did anybody visit eComXpo? Was it worth your time? Will you participate again next year?

We are trying to decide if it is worth the time and money to be an exhibitor next time. It looked to me like it was aimed at larger companies, and that there was not much that would interest the typical Miva merchant. I would appreciate any feedback from Forum members.

Thanks!

I've attended all 3 times it's existed. It's really mostly affiliate marketing oriented, but I've made many contacts and some friends in there. Of the supposed 7,000 signups, I would guess that thousands of them either don't really attend, or attend just for the prizes, or attended for short times. But the ones who do attend seriously do seem to be a good crowd. Several exhibitors have profited from my visits in either sales or referrals, which probably happened a lot, so I think they're pretty happy. I know that each time it grows in exhibitors, and I don't see much drop-off.

On a side note, I almost did one of these for Miva Merchant a few months ago, sort of like a regional user meeting like I've done in Indianapolis. I had it all worked out, with an agreement set up with the people and everything, but I got almost no response from developers as possible exhibitors. I don't know if it's because it was coming from ME, or if it was a lack of interest. Too bad, it could have been really cool for thousands of MM users to get together virtually, without having to travel, to see speakers, exhibitors, etc.
