A lonnngg time ago I had inquired about the integration of MIVA Merchant into Seaport Software for a site I was working on (Holiday Treasures) - back then when I asked someone emailed me off-list about it but I can't remember who it was. The question has come up again for another Christmas store. So are there any developers out there with Seaport Software experience? SS seems to be popular with collectibles type stores.
