Image map for basket update?

:confused:Has anyone used an image map for products. We have an exploded view of a helmet and we wanted to have the helmet image map on the left, and on the right the basket with just the product name, and quantity. I have that working, but I can't seem to figure out how to set a link on the image map to update the basket. Everything I see so far would lead me to believe I would have to go to the product description page and add the item then go back to the helmet exploded view. Hope I posted this in the right section, i'm new to Miva.

Update the basket to do what?

The client wants the exploded view and the basket on the same page.
so for example, they choose a face shield (which is a link on the image map on the left of the page), then some side vents and a few screws. it will keep updating the basket which is on the right

Use Weiland's Mini Basket v5 Module (http://tinyurl.com/z4u3u).

That will allow you to show the basket contents anywhere.

Then you can set your image map to Add one to Basket and remain on the CTGY page and the basket will update.
