I have to tell you guys, last night was a tough one for me. My beloved Cubbies played San Diego. There was a time when I really didn't know who to cheer for. Hometown team or Team I have followed since I was a little girl and went to my first game? In the end I justified it away as that the cubbies were going to lose anyway (they always do), so might as well cheer for them. But still a little torn. :D

Well, you have Nomar now, from the Cubs (my newly adopted team) and the Red Sox (my first love!). :D
As a native New Englander and a Red Sox fan now in the Windy City, I feel your pain Julie, however all you can do is hope and pray... and have a few Old Styles!

Have you sat out in the bleachers yet? That's a trip. The best part about games at Wrigley, isn't even the games, but what happens after the game. Some great little restaurants and cafes in Wrigleyville. If you make it to the conference we'll have to catch up on all that's great about Chicago. (I honestly miss the hot dogs the most.)

I still think they shouldnt have put up lights at Wrigley.
Then again, I'm also one of those folks that's still pissed at Jerry Jones for firing Tom Landry too...

Supposedly Vienna Beef signed a national deal with Target, so you should be able to get the best hot dogs close to you... though the Target employee may not know what "everything" on one means! :o
I've been to Wrigley a few times, but all the way on top of the roof, but the sitelines are amazing and there's no bad seats. They just expanded the bleachers over the winter and there's more seats, though tickets are still tough to get... except if the Brewers are in town...:D

I agree Vic. I'm "old-fashioned" in that I believe all sports should be played outdoors on natural grass, and not that fake grass they have in Seattle among other places. And I think the seats on top of the Green Monster at Fenway Park are sacrilege too!
