Removing text

I dont know if im just missing it or not, yet is there a way to remove the text "Availability" from the display such as the product list and search screens?

Disable the built in inventory module. I think that's what may be showing that text (it's not on by default, as you have to enable the inventory module explicitly to display this text on product pages, product list page, etc.

Or, if you want to keep the inventory module working, just not show inventory info on product pages and product list pages, you will need to edit the product page templates as well as the PLST (Product List) template. You can do this if you either use a module like Viking Coders' Product Page Template, or you can use the built-in option to disable showing inventory count on the PLST pages.

Thanks for that info. I looked down the Module list and dont see the Inventory one. Does it go by a certain name, or is it somehwere else. Im going to just disable it.

It's a stock MM module, should be listed on the left hand menu when you open your store tree. If you can't see it, click within the category tree frame, hit CTRL+F and search for "inventory" - it should definitely be there.

On the subject of removing text, is there any way to remove the Quantity in Basket text oj the PROD screens?

You can't do it with stock MIVA Merchant, but if you use something like Product Page Templates (from Viking Coders), certainly. You can customize the way your product pages look like - and you can create different templates for different categories, different products, etc. The sky's really the limit here...
