Multiple sales tax treatments

I need to accomodate a change in my sales tax structure. Some items are subject to a uniform sales tax while others are subject to a lower rate up to a certain amount at which time an additional tax is added. Of course this takes effect tomorrow and the State never notified us of the change. Good thing I read the newspapers. Is there a module that will support this? I'm running Miva 4.12 with OUI.
